What’s the problem?
Even though Facebook/Instagram appears connected, FloLoyal is missing required permissions — which causes multiple features to break, including:
- Autoposting not working
- Facebook DMs not working
- Instagram DMs not working
- Ad-related tools failing
FloLoyal may also show these specific issues:
- No Ad Account is selected
- Facebook did not grant all required permissions
- Some features are not working due to missing Facebook permissions
If you see that orange ⚠️, the connection is incomplete.
────────────────────────────────────────
Why this happens (most common causes)
- Facebook permissions were partially approved
During the Facebook connection flow, not every permission box was fully granted.
This usually happens when someone clicks through too quickly and skips “Edit Settings.” - The wrong Facebook profile was used
The person who connected Facebook may not be the correct admin/owner.
The Facebook login used must be an admin of all of the following:
- The Facebook Page
- The Business Manager
- The Ad Account
If they aren’t, Facebook will block certain permissions automatically.
- No Ad Account was selected
Even if you’re not running ads yet, FloLoyal still requires an Ad Account selection.
Without it, features like autoposting and ad tools can fail. - Instagram permissions are incomplete
Instagram can appear connected but still be missing authorization through Facebook’s permissions system.
This results in Instagram posting and IG DMs failing.

The correct solution (step-by-step)
Step 1: Fully disconnect Facebook and Instagram
Inside the sub-account, go to:
Settings → Integrations → Facebook → Settings
Then disconnect:
Important: Do not reconnect on top of the existing connection.
You must disconnect first.
────────────────────────────────────────
Step 2: Reconnect using the right Facebook login
When reconnecting, log in with the Facebook profile that owns/controls the Business Manager.
That profile must be an Admin on:
- The Facebook Page (example: Revive Abbeville Facebook Page)
- Facebook Business Manager
- Ad Account
If you use the wrong profile, permissions will not fully apply.
────────────────────────────────────────
Step 3: Grant all permissions (most important step)
When Facebook asks for access:
- Click “Edit Settings”
- Select access to:
- All Pages
- All Ad Accounts
- Instagram Account
- Choose “Current Pages only”
- Do not skip, limit, or restrict access
If any of these are missing, autoposting and messaging features can break.
────────────────────────────────────────
Step 4: Select an Ad Account inside FloLoyal
Back inside FloLoyal, you’ll see something like:
“Please select Ad Account”
Click it and choose the correct ad account.
Even if you are not running ads yet, select one anyway.
This is required to remove the warning banner.
────────────────────────────────────────
Step 5: Test autoposting
Once reconnected and permissions are granted:
- Create a new test post
- Schedule it 5–10 minutes ahead
- Test posting in this order:
- Facebook Feed first
- Then Instagram Feed
This confirms the connection is fully fixed.
────────────────────────────────────────
Expected result after the fix
After completing all steps correctly, you should see:
- Orange ⚠️ warning disappears
- “Missing permissions” message is gone
- Autoposting works again
- Facebook DMs and IG DMs work again
- Ad tools become available
