How to Create and Save a Filtered Smart List in FloLoyal

Objective
This SOP explains how to filter contacts in FloLoyal, save the filtered results as a smart list, and customize the visible columns so team members can quickly access the exact customer segment they need. It ensures the list is saved properly for future use and easy switching between contact views.
Key Steps
1. Open the Contacts Filters area 0:20

Go to the Contacts area in FloLoyal.

Click Filters.

Confirm you are on the All contacts view before applying any filter.

Review the available filter options that appear.
2. Choose the filter criteria 0:29

Select the filter type you want to use.

Tags are the most common filter option for customer segmentation.

Use the search field or scroll the list to find the correct filter.

Enter the specific tag name you want to filter by, such as loyalty member.
3. Apply the filter to narrow the contact list 1:03

Set the filter condition so the list only includes contacts with the selected tag.

Verify the filtered results match the intended audience.

Click Apply to update the contact list.

Confirm the list is reduced to the expected contacts.
4. Save the filtered results as a new smart list 1:14

Look for the Unsaved changes indicator.

Click Save as new smart list.

In the sidebar, enter a clear name for the list, such as Loyalty members.

Review the applied filter to ensure it is correct before saving.
5. Customize the columns shown in the smart list 1:44

Review the fields/columns that will display in the smart list.

Add or remove fields based on what you need to see.

Example: keep Name, Phone Number, Email, and Created Date.

Remove unnecessary fields such as Tags or Business Name if they are not needed.

Click Create to generate the smart list.

Verify the new smart list appears with the chosen name.

Use Contact Activity to restore or replace the Last Activity column if needed.

Example: move Last Activity so it appears immediately after the contact name.

Use the saved smart list to switch between All Contacts and the filtered segment whenever needed.

Cautionary Notes

Make sure the filter condition is correct before saving; otherwise, the smart list will return the wrong contacts.

Do not forget to click Save at the end, or the smart list will not be preserved.

Be careful when removing columns so you do not hide information your team still needs.

If you rename the list, use a clear and descriptive name so others can identify it quickly.
